Interstate Princesses Washington vs Oregon Food Drive: The princess of Oregon and Washington each challenged their states to a contest to see which state could be the most generous. On the weekend of July 19th the members from both states brought food items to be donated to local community needs. The Washington area food went to the people affected by the Charlton Complex Wildfires and the Maple Valley Food Bank. The Oregon items when to Yamhill Community Action Partnership Regional Food Bank.. The verdict is still out – and is to be announced at Interstate! Good job to everyone who donated! |

FOSTER CARE PONY RIDES: The Nooksack Valley Riders provided our local foster care kids an evening of Pony Rides, dinner and a show of gaming events and the local Rodeo Cowgirls came and entertained us all. What a neat experience to provide kids who have never had the opportunity to been near a horse, the chance actually to ride one! |
