Youth of the Year

This award is to help inspire our youth. We are looking for a youth (Buckaroo, Junior or Intermediate) who consistently works hard at the NVR/PSHS shows and other activities. Someone who stands out from the rest with a positive attitude, willing ness to help, supportive to others and encouraging!

Requirements for this award:

NVR member Under the age of 17 for show season (Buckaroo, Junior or Intermediate)

Horse of the Year

Our horses are the reason we get together and are able do what we love every year and we think they deserve some recognition for all that they give to us. We would like to dedicate a special “Horse of the Year” award to honor one special horse in the club who gives their all every ride. Every horse special but please take the time to consider one horse that has stuck out in your mind above the rest this year so that we can reward them and give them the credit that they deserve! Please choose one horse who has actively been riding in our club this last year!

Person of the Year:

Harold Bouma was a longtime Charter NVR member. He was an avid trail rider and gamer. He was remembered by his charm, wit, teasing yet caring way he had with the young and old alike. He was a Christian man, good husband, father and grandfather, This award is to find some person in his likeness.
